ASSESSING PROGRESS

Regional Progress Reviews

Regional meetings with National Food Systems Convenors are annual gatherings that provide a platform for sharing experiences, best practices, and lessons learned in the transformation of food systems.

In 2023, regional meetings held between February and April provided an overview of countries' progress, challenges, and key priorities leading up to the UN Food Systems Summit +2 (UNFSS+2) Stocktaking Moment.

In 2024, regional meetings took place between April and May to assess the progress made in transforming food systems, facilitate regional knowledge sharing, and identify emerging patterns and solutions across different regions in response to the UNFSS+2 Call to Action by the UN Secretary-General.

In 2025, regional meetings held between March and May will serve as key preparatory milestones for the UNFSS+4 Stocktaking Moment in July 2025.
