HOW WE WORK
Collaborating for impact
We work alongside a dedicated team of advisors and collaborate with key partners, ensuring our efforts are guided by expertise and strengthened through impactful partnerships.
Advisors
SCIENCE AND EVIDENCE-BASED GUIDANCE
Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC)
Established by the Hub in November 2022, the independent Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) brings together leading global scientists to provide impartial, credible, and evidence-based guidance to the Hub and the countries it supports.
STAKEHOLDER INCLUSION
Stakeholder Engagement and Networking Advisory (SENA) Group
The Stakeholder Engagement and Networking Advisory (SENA) Group, made up of self-nominated representatives from youth, Indigenous Peoples, producers, women, and the private sector, fosters inclusive dialogue and ensures transparency in shaping and advancing national food systems transformation pathways.
STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP
UN Food Systems Advisory Group
The UN Food Systems Advisory Group brings together diverse, high-level leaders and experts to accelerate the transformation of food systems. Leveraging their collective influence and expertise, the group works to foster innovative, inclusive, and sustainable solutions that address urgent challenges and create lasting benefits for people and the planet.
Partners
FOOD SYSTEMS COALITIONS
Coalitions of Action
The Hub collaborates with 28 Coalitions of Action—diverse groups of state and non-state actors formed in the context of the UN Food Systems Summit to drive systemic, inclusive, and transformative change in food systems. These coalitions work independently to support national pathways toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. The Hub serves as a connector and knowledge-sharing platform, linking coalitions with countries to accelerate transformative actions.
ECOSYSTEM OF SUPPORT
Ecosystem of Support
The Hub collaborates with existing mechanisms, especially UN Country Teams and the UN Resident Coordinator system, to serve as an enabler for the Ecosystem of Support. This ecosystem includes entities that emerged from the 2021 UN Food Systems Summit, along with additional coalitions, action areas, stakeholders, and relevant partners. Together, they drive coordinated, efficient, and impactful support at all levels for food systems transformation.
