Overview

The Community of Practice on Food Systems Transformation in Complex Settings is a platform for National Convenors from g7+ countries and Coalition partners to engage in knowledge exchange, peer learning, and collaboration on food systems transformation in fragile and conflict-affected settings. This service helps Member States affected by food crises and conflict implement their National Food Systems Transformation Pathways using the Humanitarian-Development-Peace (HDP) Nexus approach.

The HDP Nexus Coalition is a multistakeholder initiative launched at the 2021 United Nations Food Systems Summit. Co-chaired by the g7+, the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), and WFP, the Coalition brings together over 65 members committed to tackling the root causes of food crises. Hosted by the Global Network Against Food Crises and funded by the EU DG INTPA until 2025, the Coalition aims to support Member States affected by food crises and conflict in the operationalization and implementation of their National Food Systems Transformation Pathways.
