2024 Asia and the Pacific Food Systems Transformation Progress Review
Food Systems National Convenors Meeting
On 29 April 2024, the UN Food Systems Coordination Hub, the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific organized the fifth and final regional meeting of 2024. This meeting assembled Food Systems National Convenors, representatives from Asia-Pacific Food Systems Networking Group and other UN Agencies, and other experts from the region to assess progress in transforming food systems, facilitate regional knowledge sharing, and identify emerging patterns and solutions in response to the UNFSS+2 Call to Action by the UN Secretary-General.
This meeting built upon the discussions held during the 2023 Asia and the Pacific Regional Preparatory Meeting on 30 March 2023.
