"Food Systems Transformation as an Accelerator for SDGs Implementation and Climate Action in Asia and the Pacific Region"

Join us for a side event titled "Food Systems Transformation as an Accelerator for SDGs Implementation and Climate Action in Asia and the Pacific Region." This event, organized by the UN Food Systems Coordination Hub in collaboration with the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), will bring discussions on food systems and climate into focus during the APFSD. The side event will feature a diverse panel addressing the challenges and opportunities associated with aligning food systems transformation with climate action. Drawing from the outcomes of the UN Food Systems Summit +2 Stocktaking Moment, the SDGs Summit, and COP28, the discussion will emphasize policy coherence and the synergies between food and climate commitments made by national governments.
