Date: Wednesday, 4 September 2024
Time: 08:00-10:00 CAT
Venue: Knowledge Hub space, Kigali International Conference Centre.
National Food Systems Convenors are at the forefront of Africa’s efforts to transform its food systems. As the central thread in organizing and bringing to life the “whole-government” approach, they play a vital role in aligning national strategies with the broader goals of food systems transformation. This side event provides a unique opportunity for National Convenors and key stakeholders to exchange insights, collaborate on strategies, and enhance the effectiveness of their efforts.
Through engaging discussions and collaborative dialogues, participants will explore the unique contributions of National Convenors, the challenges they face, and the opportunities for cross-sectoral convergence. This session is crucial as Africa moves towards a comprehensive review of the CAADP-Malabo framework and the development of post-Malabo strategies.
