Context | Since 2021, Jordan has placed food security and system at the forefront of its developmental goals with the adoption of the National Food Security Strategy (NFSS) for 2021–2030. The NFSS envisions access to safe, affordable, and nutritious food for all by 2030. The 2022-2024 National Food Security Action Plan for the implementation of the NFSS prioritizes food availability, improved access to and better utilization of food, and strengthening governance mechanisms. |

Table for Tomorrow: Innovation for a Sustainable Food Future

At the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2024 in Davos, an Independent Food Systems Summit Dialogue titled "Table for Tomorrow: Innovation for a Sustainable Food Future" was convened by Bayer and Clim-Eat. This high-level dialogue brought together 70 leaders from diverse stakeholder groups, including farmers, researchers, international organizations, and businesses from across the globe, to focus on charting the path towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through innovation in food systems. Highlighting the need for bold transformation at scale, the dialogue aimed to explore innovative solutions, promote transformative investments, and foster accountability through innovation.
